Not as good as last year, but still a good fair.
Of course the stars were Giupetto and Gianna - dressed as Cowboy and Cowgirl this year.
John said we should have charged money for pictures because every body wanted pictures of the dogs.
I was happy with my selection of sweaters this year - esp the embroidered ones. People seemed to like them and I did sell a few of them, and also they liked the hoodies. I sold one of the two hoodies I made. And of course the hats. The hats became the big draw.
John also had his paracord bracelets there. This year it was mainly the kids that bought them.
I was a little down in the dumps on Sunday, when I found a vendor selling Beta fish tanks. There is sand art at the bottom, topped with gravel that is glued down, so only the water has to be changed Maybe a wipe of the glass once in a while. I didn't know he was also selling the Betas, and he only had 1 left!! Meet Happy.
The 2 turtles with bobbing heads I bought also - 2 for $5 !!

Rock Hall Autumn Fair/ Festival
We had a wonderful time at the annual autumn festival.
The fair was a huge success, although quite exhausting.
We did have the dogs, Giupetto and Gianna with us for an hour or so on the second day, but I forgot to take pictures. They were dressed in the super hero costumes and they were a huge hit.
The weather was great, the crowds were great, and there was live music both days.
Fun for all.

Rock Hall's Annual Autumn Festival - Oct 2011
Here's our booth. Behind the booth is John and son-in-law Greg
Below you can see the cork board for the hats and capes. I have a look book on the table, which people like to look through. This time I laid the cat toys out on a platter and it worked great. I sold several. And I have a few dressed inflatable dogs hanging around.
Below is a closeup of the hats board day 1:
Next is a close up of the same board Day 2.
The Hubby's area. He made and hung these poles.

He displayed some on a cut tree trunk:

But what brought the most attention were the dolls he secured to a display tray - Iron Man, Phoenix and Wolverine. And the kids all ran over, esp recognizing iron man.

There's the hubby:

We've got a customer. Tucker is Baaad to the Bone.

Donna and Georgi came to visit:
Below is a new hat I made while sitting there at the fair:
End of day 2 - it was a very successful and fun weekend. There is my oldest grandson Thomas. They all helped pack us back up.

Art in The Plaza May 22, 2011
Well, it was sooooooo cold, only 50 degrees - all day, and very windy, even some cold drizzle in the morning, cloudy - the sun never even peeked out. But there we were about a dozen or so crazy people, out in the cold trying to sell thier art.
There were not that many people walking through, but truly, considering the cold, I was surprised we had as many as we did.
I saw at least 6 dogs, a Briard Marely, that I fell in love with. He did some tricks for me, such a super sweet dog. He hung out with us for most of the day. There was a cute tiny yorkie, an apricot poodle, a Cavalier, a white poodle, and a mini schnauzer.
I enjoyed talking with everyone as usual, and everyone enjoyed my customer pics. I took some pics and some videos.
The purse with the lavender flowers and butterfly sold. That was my favorite. Those embroidered scenes are so fun to do. You design it yourself, choose your silk flower and the machine stitches a design over the inside of the flower. I don't make these anymore. Just do not have the time.
I am so tired now. My feet hurt, and my shins hurt, and my cheeks hurt - I think I have wind burn.
